Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the SCAD AI Resume Creator (the "Service") at https://antz.jp, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. The Service is operated by SCAD LLC (SCAD合同会社), a company based in Japan. We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Service Description

The Service is an AI-powered resume creation and management platform. Features include: multi-format resume creation (English CV, Japanese Rirekisho, and Shokumu Keirekisho), AI-powered content improvement and translation using third-party models, file import and automatic resume generation from uploaded documents, AI-generated professional status cards with customizable styles, self-introduction video creation with talking-head technology, voice cloning for personalized narration, version history with comparison and restore, and multi-language support (English, Japanese, Sinhala, Tamil). The Service currently offers a free tier. Premium features or paid plans may be introduced in the future with appropriate notice.

3. Account Registration

You must have an account to use the Service. Accounts may be created by an administrator on your behalf, or you may sign in with Google OAuth. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify your administrator or contact info@scad-consulting.com immediately. We may disable accounts we believe have been compromised.

4. User Content

You retain full ownership of all resume content, personal information, photographs, and other materials you provide ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant SCAD LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to process your User Content solely to provide and improve the Service, including transmitting it to third-party AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy. We claim no intellectual property rights over your User Content. You may export or delete your content at any time.

5. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses AI technologies from third parties (Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, D-ID, and ElevenLabs) to generate, edit, translate, and enhance content. AI-generated content -- including improved text, status card images, translations, and videos -- is provided as a tool to assist you. You acknowledge that AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before using it. SCAD LLC makes no warranties regarding the accuracy or suitability of AI-generated content.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Creating resumes or content that is fraudulent, intentionally misleading, or contains knowingly false information
• Attempting unauthorized access to other users' accounts, data, or any part of the Service's infrastructure
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to derive the source code, algorithms, or AI prompts used by the Service
• Using the Service in violation of applicable laws or regulations, or in a way that infringes the rights of any third party

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control, including third-party AI service outages. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime. No service level agreement (SLA) is provided.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. SCAD LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SCAD LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, INACCURACIES IN AI-GENERATED CONTENT, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE MONTHS OR 10,000 JPY.

9. Communications and Marketing

By creating an account, you agree to receive service-related communications including account notifications, security alerts, feature updates, and important service announcements. We may also send promotional materials about new features, career resources, job opportunities, partner services, and educational content relevant to your career development in Japan. You can unsubscribe from promotional communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in each email or by contacting us. Service-critical communications (security, account, legal) cannot be opted out of while your account is active.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or if continued service is no longer feasible. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may, at our discretion, allow you to export your data before termination. Provisions that by nature should survive termination remain in effect, including limitation of liability and governing law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court (東京地方裁判所) as the court of first instance.
